A leading and long-established building services contractor, recognised for delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical installations across the UK, is seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join its project delivery team. With a strong pipeline of education and public sector projects, this role will initially focus on a sports facility scheme within a live school environment in Harlow, before moving onto a range of education projects across North and East London.

This position is ideally suited to a hands-on, standalone Electrical Site Manager who is confident taking full ownership of site-based electrical delivery, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Take Full Ownership of Electrical Works on Site: Act as the standalone Electrical Site Manager, overseeing all electrical packages including containment, lighting, fire alarm systems, and access control, ensuring installation aligns with design, programme, and quality expectations.
  • Work closely with the wider site team to manage day-to-day activities, sequencing works effectively within a live school environment and maintaining progress against key project milestones.
  • Subcontractor Management & Supervision: Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors on site, ensuring productivity, quality of workmanship, and adherence to site standards and safety protocols.
  • Ensure Compliance & Quality Assurance: Monitor all electrical works to ensure compliance with current regulations, specifications, and health & safety requirements, carrying out inspections and snagging as required.
  • Contribute to the 3-week lead-in period, assisting with planning, site setup, and logistics to ensure a smooth mobilisation ahead of project commencement.
Requirements
  • Must have 4+ years experience in a similar role on similar public sector projects.
  • Must be based within a commutable distance of North London/Harlow.
  • Must be available to start within 1-2 weeks.
