Job Description

Quantity Surveyor – Commercial Fit-Out – Central London\\n\\nWe are currently partnering with a leading fit-out Main Contractor specialising in Offices, Higher Education and Science Facilities. Having demonstrated huge success across London they are now seeking to further expand their team with a Senior Quantity Surveyor in Central London.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\n * Cost Management and Reporting\\n\\nOversee all financial aspects of fit-out projects from inception to completion, including cost planning, budget control, forecasting, and value management to ensure profitability and commercial success.\\n\\n * Procurement and Contract Administration\\n\\nManage procurement processes, tender evaluations, and subcontractor negotiations. Administer contracts, variations, and payment applications in line with company policies and project requirements.\\n\\n * Project Financial Control\\n\\nMonitor project costs against budgets, assess change orders, and provide accurate financial reporting to senior management and clients to support informed decision-making.\\n\\n * Stakeholder and Client Liaison\\n\\nWork closely with clients, project managers, and design teams to ensure cost transparency, timely reporting, and strong commercial communication throughout the project lifecycle.\\n\\n * Team Leadership and Mentorship\\n\\nProvide guidance and support to junior surveyors and commercial team members, promoting best practices, consistency, and excellence in cost management and commercial delivery.\\n\\nRequirements\\n\\nMust have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role working for a main contractor\\n\\nMust have 3+ years’ experience in commercial fit out or similar projects\\n\\nMust have relevant degree level quantity surveying qualifications\\n\\nBenefits\\n\\n£60,000 – £80,000 + Benefits
