You will lead the on-site mechanical package through installation, testing, and handover—managing subcontractors, programme, quality, and safety, while working closely with the project delivery and MEP teams. Key Responsibilities: * Manage mechanical subcontractors across HVAC, pipework, and specialist systems * Coordinate all on-site mechanical activities with project and client teams * Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems * Prepare and review method statements, risk assessments, and safety plans * Monitor labour, progress, and programme milestones * Manage delivery, storage, and installation of plant and equipment * Ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are achieved on site * Maintain strong client communication and reporting throughout the project Candidate Requirements: * Relevant mechanical qualification (BEng, HNC, NVQ, or similar) * Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical construction management * Background in data centres, pharma, cleanrooms, or other complex projects * Strong planning, coordination, and leadership skills * Proven track record managing subcontractor teams and multiple systems * Excellent knowledge of health, safety, and compliance requirements * Based in or able to commute to Central London Salary & Package: * £85,000 base salary * Comprehensive benefits package * Career progression with a market leader in data centre delivery * Strong pipeline of projects across the UK
