An established and growing construction consultancy is seeking Senior Quantity Surveyors to join its commercial team. This is a senior, client-facing role offering exposure to a wide range of projects and the opportunity to influence commercial outcomes from pre-contract through to final account.
You will work closely with Lead Surveyors, Regional Directors, and senior leadership, delivering high-quality quantity surveying and commercial services while supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver full quantity surveying services from pre-contract through to post-contract
- Prepare estimates, Bills of Quantities, cost plans, and tender submissions
- Provide commercial, procurement, and contract advice
- Manage cost control, value recovery, and cash flow
- Administer subcontractor procurement and commercial management
- Prepare valuations, financial reports, CVRs, and final accounts
- Manage variations, claims, EOTs, and loss & expense submissions
- Support dispute resolution and claims preparation
- Attend client meetings and professionally represent the business
- Assist with business development and client relationship management
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- RICS membership preferred
- Strong experience delivering both pre- and post-contract services
- Commercially astute with strong contract knowledge
- Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused approach
- High level of IT and reporting capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
