A Tier 1 Main Contractor with a turnover of £150 million is currently looking for a driven, motivated experienced Senior Surveyor who is looking for the next level to progress to. Our client is currently working with one of the most iconic global brands seeking to establish their HQ in the heart of London. This iconic project is valued over £100 million Cut & Carve Refurbishment with a high spec fit out over 11 floors.
The key duties include:
- Procurement
- 2 Stage tender
- JCT D&B Traditional forms of contract
- Managing a team of 5-7 Surveyors
- Contract Administration
- Receiving and analysing tender submissions
- Full procurement of subcontract packages, materials and other resources including preparing, implementing, and managing formal subcontracts under JCT, company standard and negotiated amended terms, measurement exercises
- Pricing variations and other in-house works, preparing and submitting applications for payment, engrossment of collateral warranty documentation
- Cost Value Reconciliation
- Reporting
- Budgeting, cost flow, cash flow
- Final accounting
- Delay analysis
- Preparation and submission of contractual notices
- Calculation of loss and expense
- Assessment of subcontractor applications
- Raising and distributing payment notices in accordance with the Construction Act
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working for a Tier 1 Contractor on a high-end fit out valued over £15 million.
