This is a fantastic opportunity to take a lead role on a complex, high-value pharmaceutical facility build in Oxford, working on state-of-the-art electrical systems. We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of electrical systems for a major pharmaceutical project. You’ll manage all aspects of project delivery from design coordination through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover — ensuring all works meet stringent GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, lighting, small power, ELV, fire alarms, and security systems * Ensure compliance with GMP, client specifications, and project programme * Manage subcontractors and site teams, ensuring safe systems of work and high-quality installations * Liaise with client representatives, design teams, and internal departments to resolve issues quickly * Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and commercial performance * Lead inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover processes * Maintain accurate project documentation, QA/QC records, and as-builts Candidate Profile: * Electrical engineering degree or recognised trade qualification * Proven experience managing electrical packages on pharmaceutical or other complex, regulated projects * Strong understanding of GMP, cleanroom electrical design, and validation requirements * Excellent leadership and coordination skills with experience managing large teams and multiple subcontractors * Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams * Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills What’s on Offer: * £80,000–£90,000 + benefits package * Lead role on a flagship pharmaceutical project * Career development opportunities within a respected engineering contractor * Collaborative working environment with a focus on technical excellence
