Our success is built on expertise, precision, and the dedication of our people.

Why Woodhouse?

As a Site Assistant, you’ll support the Site Lead in overseeing event builds, setups, and takedowns, ensuring operations run smoothly and safely. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to develop key skills while working within a supportive, dynamic team. If you’re looking to grow within a company that values training, development, and career progression, this is the role for you.

A Role with Responsibility and Challenge

As a Site Assistant, you’ll work alongside the Site Lead to ensure efficient and safe operations during event builds and takedowns. You’ll actively contribute to the setup and dismantling of temporary structures while ensuring that safety protocols and quality standards are met. The role provides a chance to take on increasing responsibility and offers opportunities for career progression into a Site Coordinator role.

  • Supporting the Site Lead: Assist in carrying out daily tasks as directed by the Site Lead, ensuring the build and takedown stay on schedule.
  • Managing the team in the Site Lead’s absence: Take charge of overseeing the team when the Site Lead is away, ensuring that work continues efficiently and safely.
  • Hands-on labour and site preparation: Actively participate in the setup, dismantling, and maintenance of temporary structures, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Team coordination: Act as a bridge between the Site Lead and the workforce, ensuring smooth communication and task delegation.
  • Material and equipment management: Help track materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and proper maintenance for each phase of the build.
  • Safety compliance and site organisation: Assist in enforcing health and safety procedures and keeping the site tidy and organised to reduce risks.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and report on-site issues to the Site Lead and contribute to finding practical solutions to maintain efficiency.
  • Client and stakeholder interaction: Support the Site Lead in managing client needs on-site, ensuring progress continues uninterrupted.
  • Time and task management: Ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently, keeping up with project timelines and expectations.
