Key Responsibilities
- This is a varied and hands‑on role that will see you working closely with production, customers, suppliers, and senior management to drive quality performance across the business.
- You will play a key role in maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, leading investigations into quality issues, supporting audit activities, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- You will also support the ongoing compliance and development of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems while contributing to wider continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Skills & Experience Needed
- Previous experience within a Senior Quality Engineer or Quality Engineer position.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
- Experience conducting internal, process, and supplier audits.
- Proven ability to lead root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Knowledge of quality tools including 8D, 5 Why, FMEA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience managing customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and identify trends.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving.
