Location: Rainbow Forge Primary Academy
Wraparound Care: The role includes a wraparound care element, increasing total hours from 32.5 to 37 per week. Duties may include breakfast and/or after-school club duties depending on needs.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with pupils to support academic and social development.
- Recognise and respond to individual pupil needs to promote inclusion and engagement.
- Deliver and review learning activities for individuals and small groups under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
- Provide short-term class cover (including PPA) without responsibility for planning and assessment.
- Support the implementation of the National Curriculum and the school’s educational programmes.
- Encourage pupils to become independent learners and help raise achievement across the school.
You will also play a vital role in promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils in line with school policies and statutory guidance.
