Noel-Baker Academy is seeking an ambitious, values-driven Curriculum Director for Mathematics who will also lead our whole-school Numeracy strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a core subject while influencing teaching and learning across the entire academy.
About the Role
- Lead the strategic development of an ambitious, well-sequenced and inclusive mathematics curriculum
- Ensure consistently high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages
- Use data intelligently to identify priorities, close gaps and raise outcomes
- Model excellent practice and support colleagues through coaching, CPD and professional dialogue
- Oversee targeted interventions to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and those with SEND
You will also hold whole-school responsibility for Numeracy, working closely with senior leaders, subject teams and a dedicated Lead Practitioner to embed a coherent, evidence-informed approach to mathematical thinking, reasoning and application across the curriculum.
