Logistics & Warehousing Team Leader Permanent – Shrewsbury

L & C Consulting are recruiting with a successful business in Shrewsbury for a new Team Leader to work within their Operations team.Working Monday Friday, this permanent position will suit an experienced Team Leader / Operations Administrator who is looking for a new opportunity within a successful business and wants to develop their skills whilst working in a supportive environment.

This hands on role will be reporting into the Warehouse Manager with duties including (but not be limited to):

Organise and run the day to day activities of a small Operations team

Process Orders for despatch

Creating relevant documentation for deliveries and drivers

Customer Support

Booking in deliveries

Liaising with drivers and warehouse staff

Other ad hoc admin duties

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have experience in a similar role. You will need to have good communication skills and have a flexible, honest approach to your work. Strong IT skills are also essential (Ms Excel & Outlook) including ERP / MRP systems.

This role requires a flexible approach and good geographical knowledge of the UK.
