L & C Consulting are working with a successful and expanding Telford-based organisation to recruit a Technical Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Telecoms Specialist . This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced IT professional seeking the next step in their career within a supportive, forward-thinking business.
The Role
As a Technical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installation, configuration, and support services across a range of communication systems. Your responsibilities will include :
- Installing and configuring communication and software-based systems
- Diagnosing and resolving technical faults
- Providing customer training and ongoing support
- Travelling to customer sites across Shropshire, the West Midlands, Staffordshire, and Mid Wales
Standard working hours are 08 : 30 17 : 30, Monday to Friday , though some flexibility is required due to the field-based nature of the role.
About You
To be considered, you should ideally have :
- Experience in a similar IT, telecoms, or software support role
- Strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn bespoke systems
