In this varied and fast-paced role, you will manage, control, maintain, and report on our technical production and hire equipment. This position is ideal for an upbeat, self-motivated individual who thrives in an organised, energised, and systematic environment.
Daily Responsibilities
- Equipment Management: Prepare and de-prepare event jobs and technical equipment.
- Stock Control: Maintain accurate inventory, onboard new assets, and update the system.
- Discrepancy Control: Investigate stock discrepancies within 24 hours and minimise risk.
- Maintenance & Safety: Carry out assessments, basic repairs, PAT testing, and update service records.
- Reporting: Document shortages, damages, and incorrect stock to arrange repairs or replacements.
- Warehouse Care: Ensure efficient storage of technical production gear and general housekeeping.
- Flexibility: Alter shifts when needed and attend weekend stock counts.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Proven background in warehousing, stock control, and technical production (lighting, power, sound).
- Technical Skills: Ability to review technical manuals and carry out basic equipment repairs.
- IT Literacy: Fully PC literate across platforms (Google Suite; experience with Current RMS is desirable).
- Mindset: A "can-do" attitude, exceptional accuracy, and a solution-oriented approach.
- Attributes: Reliable, independent, organised, and able to prioritise a heavy workload.
- Licence: Full UK driving licence is required.
