We are seeking a technically-minded Design & Build Manager to oversee the end-to-end fabrication and delivery of complex physical builds. Based out of our Shropshire hub, you will be the bridge between the design studio and the workshop floor.
This isn't a desk-bound project management role; you will define build strategies, select materials, and oversee fabrication sequencing to ensure that ambitious creative concepts are delivered on time, on budget, and to an exacting standard.
- Assess creative concepts and advise on the most effective materials and fabrication methods.
- Provide daily technical leadership within an active workshop environment, managing both in-house teams and specialist external partners.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Take projects from initial design review through to site survey, fabrication, and final installation.
- Quality & Compliance: Act as the final sign-off for structural integrity and aesthetic finish, ensuring all builds meet safety and technical specifications.
- Commercial Accuracy: Generate precise build estimates and manage project spend, identifying risks early to maintain delivery efficiency.
A strong background in Design & Build, Technical Project Management, or high-end fabrication is required. You must be able to interrogate CAD drawings and 3D models with a critical eye for 'buildability.' Extensive understanding of timber, metal, and composite fabrication processes is essential.
Experience conducting site surveys and managing the logistical constraints of complex installations is also necessary. We welcome applications from those with experience in experiential builds, high-end commercial fit-outs, exhibition stands, or temporary architectural installations.
Join a solution-led team that prides itself on technical excellence and high-quality production.
