The predicted salary is between 12 - 15 € per hour.

As a Casual Delivery Driver at Bennetts Car Parts, you will provide flexible cover for staff absences, sometimes at short notice. You will be responsible for the safe, timely and accurate delivery of car parts and accessories to our customers, including garages and retail clients. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. This position also involves basic warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders, when not on delivery runs.

Hours of Work

This is a 0 hour contract and you will be called upon to cover staff absences, sometimes at short notice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver car parts and accessories to customers in a timely and safe manner
  • Load and unload parts, ensuring they are handled carefully and delivered without damage
  • Check deliveries against orders and obtain customer signatures as proof of delivery
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
  • Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.g., picking, packing, stock checks)
  • Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays when necessary
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues
  • Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and complies with legal requirements

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous delivery or driving experience
  • Good geographical knowledge of the local area
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Physically fit – able to lift and carry parts when required
  • Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team
