About The Role

As a Warehouse Operative you will play a key role in the efficient handling, storage, and dispatch of automotive parts and accessories, ensuring that trade and retail customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This is a hands‑on role that requires attention to detail, good organisation, and a strong work ethic in a fast‑paced environment.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 8am – 5.30pm and alternate Saturdays 8.30am – 1pm

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare automotive parts for delivery or collection
  • Receive incoming deliveries and check them against purchase orders
  • Store parts correctly and keep the warehouse organised and tidy
  • Load and unload delivery vans safely and efficiently
  • Assist with regular stock checks and inventory control
  • Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items
  • Support delivery drivers with loading and route preparation
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
  • Provide occasional support to the parts counter or customer service team when needed

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or stockroom environment is preferred but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
  • Team player with a positive, proactive attitude
  • Basic IT or handheld scanner skills
  • Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable, especially if supporting with deliveries)
