We are a well-established, family-run business and we are currently looking for Delivery Drivers to join our new team in our Luton North Branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being out on the road, and delivering great service to our valued customers.
The working hours are 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-1pm alternate Saturdays.
Responsibilities
- Delivering goods to local customers in a timely and professional manner
- Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
- Ensuring delivery vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained
- Support within the warehouse with goods in and stock audits
- Providing excellent customer service and representing our business with a positive attitude
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands of the job
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
