Delivery Driver

We are a well-established, family-run business and we\’re currently looking for Delivery Drivers to join our new team in our Luton North Branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, being out on the road, and delivering great service to our valued customers.

The working hours are 8am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-1pm alternate Saturday\’s.

Responsibilities

• Delivering goods to local customers in a timely and professional manner
• Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries
• Ensuring delivery vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained
• Support within the warehouse with goods in and stock audits
• Providing excellent customer service and representing our business with a positive attitude
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred
• Valid driver\’s licence with a clean driving record
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and handle physical demands of the job
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
