Responsibilities:
- Collect and document user’s requirements
- Coordinate the development, installation, integration and operation of computer‑based systems
- Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify solutions
- Develop software solutions by studying systems flow, data usage and work processes
- Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs
- Execute full lifecycle software development
- Plan every step of the integration of a computer‑based system
- Prepare plan to maintain software
- Operate automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Conduct tests and perform security and quality controls
Qualifications:
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1–2 years
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
- Computer and technology knowledge: Visual C++/MFC, web service design, C#, SQL, database software, software development, software quality assurance
- Area of work experience: project implementation, design, quality assurance or control
- Area of specialization: development of computer applications, cybersecurity, technical support, development of quality assurance programs
- Personal suitability: accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, initiative, judgement, organised, team player, dedication, analytical, proactive
