As a Practice Lead within Professional Services, you will manage an implementation delivery team, including Consultants, Project Managers, and Practice Leads, ensuring the success of customer projects with a high degree of autonomy. You will collaborate closely with Sales to deliver compelling and competitive Professional Service proposals, engaging regularly with senior and executive management. A strong understanding of PS KPIs is essential to make informed decisions and provide accurate reporting to senior management (Practice Directors, VP, CxO). This role reports to the regional Practice Director.
You will oversee a team responsible for delivering functional, connectivity, project management, and professional services pre-sales across customer implementations and partner projects. Your responsibilities include organizing, delegating work, setting priorities, and arbitrating tasks within your team.
You will manage client escalations, serve as a stakeholder in strategic implementations, collaborate with Sales and Product teams on regional enhancements, and enable partners. You will work with Kyriba Support, Account Management, Client Success Managers, and other departments. You will also set goals, mentor, and support the career development of your direct reports.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide high-level customer service to clients and partners
- Stay current on Kyriba offerings through ELMS and Kyriba Academy training
- Develop new skills related to products, industry, and market trends
- Attend internal training sessions and webinars to deepen product knowledge
- Understand and adapt Kyriba implementation methodology for various customer needs
- Report on project health and proactively identify risks with autonomy
- Communicate risks, issues, and mitigation strategies to senior management based on business impact
- Plan, organize, and delegate work effectively within your team
- Manage team capacity planning, hiring, development, and organizational decisions
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and customer focus
- Encourage cross-department collaboration for solutions
- Report on KPIs related to your team and portfolio
- Engage in strategic pre-sales activities and support sales efforts
- Scope prospect requirements, craft Statements of Work, and estimate efforts
- Manage project margins, resource capacity, utilization, and assignments
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Center of Excellence
- Maintain a target billable utilization rate of 55%
Additional Responsibilities
- Make stakeholder decisions during client calls
- Manage projects in OA, updating hours and go-live dates
- Resolve customer disputes related to invoices and timesheets
- Ensure accurate time entry and timely submission of timesheets by your team
Qualifications
- 6-10+ years experience in Professional Services, Support, or Consulting, preferably in treasury/financial systems
- Fluent in English
- Experience with a TMS is a plus
- Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in Business, Finance, or relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong time management skills for handling multiple projects
- Willingness to travel for client or partner visits as needed
