Are you an Administrator already doing paraplanning work but not getting the recognition? Or a Paraplanner who wants more support, development and a clearer path forward? This is a genuine opportunity to step into — or progress within — paraplanning in a well-established, highly respected IFA business in Glasgow.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a busy, client-focused firm with a strong reputation across pensions, investments and protection. If you’re coming from an admin background, you’ll be supported and developed into a full paraplanning role. If you’re already experienced, you’ll be given the autonomy and trust to focus on higher-value work. Initially, you’ll spend more time in the office to get fully embedded in the team, systems and processes — before moving into a more flexible hybrid setup.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting Financial Advisers with research and report writing
- Preparing suitability reports and recommendations
- Conducting product and fund research across the market
- Assisting with client reviews and ongoing servicing
- Liaising with providers, advisers and internal teams
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within financial services (pensions, investments or protection)
- Either:
- An experienced Administrator ready to step up into paraplanning
- OR an existing Paraplanner
- Level 4 Diploma (or working towards)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- A genuine desire to develop and progress
