Job Purpose

Responsible for leading day-to-day delivery, operation, and adoption of data, reporting, analytics and copilot-based insights agents across multiple domains in Kyowa Kirin such as Finance, Supply Chain, HR. The role provides end-to-end operational ownership of reporting solutions, key datasets, data products and productivity agents; ensuring they meet business needs, regulatory expectations, and agreed Global and KKI data standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary operational point of contact for data and analytics across assigned functional domains and clusters, working with leadership teams to understand agreed objectives and priorities for the data and analytics roadmap in the domains.
  • Build trusted working relationships with domain and cluster stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and deliver agreed outcomes.
  • Ensure design and delivery of scalable, secure, and performant solutions using the chosen technology stack.
  • Set up and maintain processes for data quality, integrity, and consistency for reporting, analytics and agentic outputs.
  • Establish and operate a centralised BI & Insights CoE to define and enforce standards for modelling, reporting, and insight generation, ensuring consistent, trusted, and reusable analytics across domains.
  • Manage and provide hands‑on leadership to the Data & AI team (Data Engineers, BI Developers, Forward Deployed Engineers), ensuring clear task allocation, delivery discipline, and high‑quality outputs.

Position Requirements:

  • Significant experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence roles, with demonstrable delivery and team coordination responsibility.
  • Hands‑on experience in semantic modelling and analytics engineering practices for scalable reporting and agentic solutions.
  • Experience designing or operating data/analytics platforms with embedded AI/ML or GenAI capabilities.
  • Experience managing analytics or data products, datasets, or reporting solutions.
  • Proven ability to work with business stakeholders and translate requirements into delivered outcomes.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and with regional or global teams.
  • Experience contributing to or operating within a BI / Analytics Centre of Excellence or community of practice.
  • Practical experience operating within agile and DevOps delivery models.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • DAMA Data Management Professional (CDMP) certification, or equivalent data management certification desirable but non-essential.
  • Microsoft Azure certification(s) desirable but not essential e.g. Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203), Power BI Data Analyst (PL-300), Fabric Data Engineer Associate (DP-700), Implement Data Engineering Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric (DP-700), Create Agents in Microsoft Copilot Studio (PL-7008).
