Job Purpose
The Pricing manager is part of the KKI Value and Access (V&A) team reporting to the Emerging Growth Markets (EGM) V&A Director. The Pricing manager is in charge of managing all the questions, actions and tasks related to pricing in the Cluster. The Pricing manager is therefore, in collaboration with countries (business partners), region and global, in charge to maintain accurately the information in various databases collecting information on prices and reimbursement (list, net, agreements, timeline, IRP...). The Pricing manager will be responsible for preparing the business case which will be presented to the pricing governance committee, aligned with company standards, liaise with multiple stakeholders for alignment and endorsement. The Pricing manager is also a key interlocutor to countries and is responsible for answering their questions on list prices, timelines, price certificates. Within the EGM Cluster team, the pricing manager interacts closely with the finance and commercial teams. The pricing manager will also be accountable to perform and execute regional launch sequencing and pricing strategies for current and new products.
Responsibilities
- Country collaboration & governance: Partner with countries to ensure list/net/net-net price compliance with global strategy, manage confidential agreements, IRP preparedness, taxes, clawbacks, and automatic price adjustments.
- Strategic pricing & lifecycle management: Assess risks/opportunities across line extensions, reassessments, renewals, geographic expansion, and new product/acquisition evaluations.
- Negotiation & decision support: Provide handsāon support in country negotiations with best practices, financial modelling, forecasts, and scenario analyses.
- Data, tools & transparency: Maintain accurate pricing systems, tools, trackers, certificates, dashboards, and performance monitoring in coordination with regional/global teams.
- Financial alignment & forecasting: Partner with Finance to ensure clear cascade logic (list ā net ā net-net), accurate forecasting, stock impact assessment, and demand planning implications.
- Forwardālooking strategy & innovation: Define mid/longāterm pricing roadmaps, monitor reforms, anticipate IRP impacts, and integrate innovative models (e.g., outcomeābased pricing).
Qualifications
- Proven track record of interacting with people on multiple organizational levels.
- Exposure to and awareness of multiple business and national cultures.
- Previous experience in pricing at local or regional level.
- Deep knowledge of pricing questions (IRP, agreements...).
- IRP systems and process expertise.
- Risk Sharing Agreements knowledge.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Project management expert.
- Excellent English skills.
- Regional and International travel including time away from home.
