The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 Β£ per year.
Cluster-based role managing medical aspects of EGM (Emerging Growth Markets), as well as line management responsibility for the GCC Medical Team responsible for Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kuwait, Qatar and Bahrain. Ensure optimal medical and scientific support for EGM both externally - to the peers of KKI business partners and the medical community - and internally.
Responsibilities:
- Hiring, coaching and retention of Cluster Medical Team for the clusters as appropriate
- Actively support potential business partners (medical affairs, training, PV etc) in EGMs
- Creation and/or review of medical materials, e.g., literature reviews, medical letters, slide kits etc
- Organisation and management of advisory boards, roundtables
- Medical/Scientific training to local organisation or business partners
- Medical/Scientific input in marketing plan and materials
- Pharmacovigilance: accountable for capturing, documenting and processing of Adverse Events on company products
- Work in matrix with Franchise medical team and network with other medical clusters
- Obtain and maintain a working knowledge on all aspects of the relevant KKI products.
- Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of guidelines, codes of practice, relevant local law
Qualifications:
- Appropriate experience as a successful affiliate/cluster Medical Affairs Director
- Significant EGM experience in a Medical Affairs Director Role, and an understanding of Medical Affairs processes across the GCC Region would be an advantage
- Full scientific and medical knowledge of KKIβs products and their therapeutic area
- University degree in human medicine (M.D.)
- Significant relevant work experience in clinical research & development in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields would be an advantage
- Experience with orphan drugs, early market access and launches of specialised drugs
- Strong awareness of medical governance and compliance requirements as pertaining to medical affairs operations in EGM and GCC
- Experience in managing partnerships/alliances within the pharma industry
- Significant experience of building/leading Medical Science Liaison (MSL) teams
- Strong people management experience
- Local and international travel with overnight stays
- Fluent in English (written & spoken)
