Job Purpose :
To provide legal advice and support to operational and commercial functions throughout the business
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Trusted legal advisor to key stakeholders (eg Medical, Clinical Development, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, HR)
- Draft and review a broad range of agreements across the UK and EMEA (eg distribution and supply agreements, clinical trials and site agreements, market research, inter-company agreements, MSAs, collaboration agreements)
- Legal review of Regional and Global Polices & SOPs
- Provide training to functional and business colleagues on relevant legal topics
- Create and maintain legal template documents
- Enable best practice sharing and drive continuous improvement across the Region
Qualifications
Position Requirements:
- UK-qualified solicitor
- Significant in-house experience in life sciences in the UK
- Expertise in clinical trials, supply chain, pharmaceutical law, competition law, commercial contracts and ABPI Code of Practice
- Mature and balanced team player with high integrity
- Strong communicator with sound judgement and a practical approach
- Regional (EMEA) experience preferred but not required
