Kyocera SGS Precision Tools is a leading manufacturer of solid carbide cutting tools, renowned for designing high-performance solutions for machining challenging materials such as stainless steel and titanium. We support industries such as aerospace, medical, power generation, and motorsports by solving complex manufacturing challenges and improving process efficiency. We're now entering an exciting phase of growth, relocating to the Midlands to unite Kyocera SGS and Kyocera Unimerco Tooling under one roof; forming Kyocera's largest carbide tooling site in Europe. As part of this expansion, we're looking for a Customer Service & Production Planning Representative to join our team. This hybrid role combines customer service, production planning, and procurement support, offering excellent exposure across several key business areas.
About the Role
You will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive outstanding service while supporting our production and purchasing functions. You'll work closely with internal departments and help maintain the smooth flow of information and materials across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Update Works Orders and maintain production schedules
- Raise purchase orders and support procurement activities
- Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and process sales orders
- Collaborate with Production, Sales, and Logistics teams
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in relevant systems
What We're Looking For
- Experience in production planning, procurement, or customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP experience (Sage/SAPMAN advantageous)
- Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, organised, and able to work across multiple tasks
- A flexible team player with a positive, solution-driven approach
