Job Description

Location: Aberdeen – West End | Showroom-based

Are you passionate about interior design and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service? Do you have experience with fabrics and curtain making, or window dressing? Join our creative, friendly team as a Customer Service and Interior Design Sales Assistant at our established interior showroom in Aberdeen’s busy West End.

About the Role

As a key member of our retail showroom team, you'll play a vital role in helping customers bring their design visions to life. You'll provide expert advice on wallpapers, paints, curtains, blinds, and fabrics, combining a flair for interior design with excellent customer care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with interior design choices, including colour schemes, fabric selection and wallpaper coordination.
  • Provide expert advice on curtain styles,blind options and suitable fittings.
  • Conduct on-site measuring appointments and prepare quotations for bespoke curtain and blind orders.
  • Create engaging content for our social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Perform general showroom duties, such as placing orders and tidying displays.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong interest in home interiors, interior decoration, or soft furnishings.
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a retail or design-related setting.
  • Knowledge of curtain making, window treatments, or fabric handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confidence with computers and basic social media content creation.
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset.

Job Details

  • Part-time – Approximately 22 hours per week (plus additional holiday cover)
  • Work on a 4-week rota (includes some Saturdays)
  • Based in our showroom (no remote work)
