We are currently embarking on a major technology transformation, defining our future software product portfolio and technology roadmap. This is a high-impact role where you will own critical business applications and ensure world-class service for our members and customers.
The Opportunity
Working within our Digital Software team, you will be the key link between the business, project teams, and third-party agencies. This is a hybrid Product Owner/Senior Business Analyst role focused on owning the direction of key applications and ensuring product delivery alignment across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing
- Product Ownership:
Be the Product Owner for critical applications, steering development, defining functionality, and managing the plan, build, and run methodology to ensure adherence to the latest digital trends. - Business Analysis & Requirements:
Produce high-quality Business Requirements and Specifications, gather and articulate detailed requirements, conduct interviews/workshops, and present proposals to stakeholders. - Stakeholder & Customer Communication:
Serve as the digital and customer-oriented voice, communicating clearly with members and customers to ensure a world-class user experience. - Process Definition:
Develop a thorough understanding of all departments, document \βas-is\β and \βto-be\β business processes, and conduct thorough gap analyses on new/re-platformed systems. - Quality Assurance:
Manage the User Acceptance Test (UAT) activity, prepare UAT plans, and support the business/users through testing, training, and new system rollout.
About You: Skills & Experience (Essential)
To succeed in this hybrid and high-impact role, you must demonstrate the following:
- Experience:
Several years of experience in change management/business analysis within a modern commercial environment. - Analytical Skills:
Sound knowledge of current and emerging analytical techniques, coupled with a highly analytical, structured, logical, and broad-thinking approach. - Technical Knowledge:
Experience working with digital solutions, cloud computing, web, CMS, and API technology. - Qualifications:
Possession of
Business Analyst (BA) Diploma modules. - Tools:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and
VISIO
. - Communication:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Desirable Skills:
- Agile working experience (SCRUM).
- Knowledge of Prince2 Project Management.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
