Responsibilities
- Supporting the Hospitality Manager and Head Chef in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and consistently delivering an exceptional catering experience for our residents and their families.
- Providing room service, restaurant, and bar service to our residents and guests in line with KYN's exceptional standards including preparing meal trays, delivering refreshments, and removing trays following meals.
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and best practices are always maintained and that health and safety, compliance and procedures are adhered to.
- Ensuring that residents' and relatives' dietary requirements are catered for.
- Reporting any complaints to the Head Chef/Hospitality Manager at the earliest convenience.
- Ensuring that all rules and regulations concerning serving food and beverages are strictly complied with.
- Creating a nurturing environment where our residents and their family members feel loved, happy, safe, and secure.
- Ensuring that all alcohol is served responsibly and to adhere to the terms of the premises licence.
Requirements
- You will have experience of working within a similar hospitality venue.
- You will be a professional, who understands the importance of delivering and maintaining high standards - keeping a safe, clean, and compliant environment.
- You will have strong communication skills, a cooperative and polite manner, and an eye for detail.
- You will have the ability to work under pressure, flexibly and consistently.
- You will be trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, and patient and continually striving for excellence.
- You must be over the age of 18 as you will be required to serve drinks in the Great Room.
