Responsibilities:

• Acquire and manage international agreements with suppliers and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with KYM’s brand values and growth strategy.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with luxury suppliers and manufacturers.
• Source premium and luxury products that reflect KYM’s identity and meet market demand.
• Conduct in-depth market research and trend analysis to inform procurement strategies and secure exclusive opportunities.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favourable terms, and exclusive agreements.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to optimise inventory levels and reduce costs.
• Ensure all products meet KYM’s quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
• Support strategic growth initiatives through partnerships and product range expansion.
• Travel internationally during the buying season to develop and strengthen brand relationships.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury procurement or a related field.
• Proven record in sourcing and acquiring high-value luxury goods (including transactions exceeding £10 million).
• Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
• Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally as part of the role.

The annual base salary range for this role is £38,000 – £100,000, depending on skills and experience. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application. This position operates within a formal office environment, where professional dress is required at all times. To maintain focus and productivity, personal mobile phone use is limited to the lunch break, and snacking is not permitted during working hours.

As a Luxury Procurement Specialist at KYM, you will play a pivotal role in acquiring and overseeing international agreements with suppliers and strategic partners, aligning with our branding strategy. Your responsibilities will encompass strategy development, relationship management, luxury product sourcing, market trend analysis, and contract negotiation, while actively participating in procurement transformations. You will work closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and cross‑functional teams to ensure we deliver premium products to our discerning clientele, enhancing our supply chain and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with luxury product suppliers and manufacturers to ensure reliable and consistent procurement.
• Product Sourcing: Identify and source premium and luxury products that align with our brand values and market demands.
• Market Research & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting in-depth market research to inform product selection and procurement strategies.
• Negotiation & Cost Management: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and exclusive deals for luxury products.
• Inventory Optimization: Work closely with logistics and operations teams to optimize inventory levels, ensuring timely product availability while minimizing costs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet the highest quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and certifications.
• Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with internal teams to drive growth through strategic partnerships and product expansion initiatives.

Key Capabilities:

• At least 5 years of experience in a related field.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
• Proven experience in luxury procurement, including assisting in the acquisition of over £10 million worth of luxury items in previous roles.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:30 – 5:30), 1‑hour lunch break.

Holidays: 20 days a year plus bank holidays.

Job Type: Full‑time.

Salary Range: £38,000 - £100,000 annually, based on skills and experience.

Bonus Scheme: A definite 6‑month bonus (every June and December).

Additional Benefits: Uniform Allowance: £800 per year for formal office attire. Phone Policy: Personal phones must not be used during working hours, only allowed during lunchtime (no snacking during working hours).
