We are recruiting experienced developers to operate within the firm, in our KX Global consultancy practice, and product implementation teams. We have opportunities spanning Belfast, Newry, London, Glasgow, Budapest, New York, Toronto, Singapore, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Responsibilities vary, but may include:
- Working onsite for global clients as part of our kdb+ consulting practice
- Developing our product suite
- Operating as Subject Matter Expert for KX product installations and customization
- Contributing to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including influencing the overall design and architecture of the application and developing, testing, and deploying the code
- Interacting with users to understand requirements and integration needs, deploy applications, assist with user configurations, troubleshoot issues, and perform training
The essentials:
- Self-starter who is proactive and driven, with a passion for learning new tools and technologies
- Strong academic background in business, finance, engineering, mathematics, science, or technology
- 3+ years working in a software engineering / development role
- Demonstrate a track record of developing successful software solutions in Python or similar programming languages such as Java / C# / C++
- A good understanding of Cloud Technologies
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
