Job Overview

We are currently seeking a Registered Massage Therapist to join our team.

  • Core Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including health history and physical evaluations, to determine appropriate massage therapy treatments.
  • Perform a variety of massage therapy techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and therapeutic massage, to address musculoskeletal issues and enhance overall health.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
  • Educate patients on postural awareness, ergonomics, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
  • Uphold professional ethics and standards, including patient confidentiality and informed consent.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and maintaining treatment areas.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Valid license to practice massage therapy in Ontario, issued by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
  • Completion of an accredited massage therapy program from a recognized institution.
  • Good standing with the CMTO, including compliance with continuing education requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in conducting thorough patient assessments and developing personalized treatment plans.
