I am looking to employ a Support Worker to assist me to live an active and independent life. This role is for a Support Worker as I have the ability to take care of myself and my care needs. I require support to achieve this as I suffer from a physical disability with complex health care needs.

Candidates must have a passion for care and want to take part in an active role in helping somebody live up to their capabilities. Must have a positive and hard-working attitude to perform the required daily tasks. This is a full-time position with varying times, so flexibility is a must. The candidate will work 12/13 hour shifts. The candidate will earn £12.50 per hour and an immediate start is available. Night and Day shifts available.

A strict DBS check will be carried out on the successful candidate. The cost of this will be met by the employer.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience is preferred although not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Good communication skills, be flexible and have a positive attitude.
  • A patient and understanding attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and able to build rapport effectively.
  • Be motivated and able to work under their own initiative.
  • Compassion and have a non-judgmental outlook.
  • Responsible mature attitude.
  • Excellent punctuality.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Offering assistance with physical tasks including washing, dressing and all aspects of personal care.
  • Assisting me out and about within the community.
  • Assisting with day-to-day tasks enabling me to live independently.

Interview Process:

Telephone Interview followed by Face to Face Interview.
