Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Servicing and maintaining a wide range of vehicle makes and models
- Conducting repairs, including cam belt and clutch replacements
- Carrying out diagnostics and fault rectification to high standards
- Ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards before handover
- Using workshop systems and equipment accurately and efficiently
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation for all repairs and maintenance work
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through professional communication and service
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification or equivalent
- Experience performing cam belt and clutch replacements as a Vehicle Technician
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Previous experience working within a workshop environment
- Ability to work efficiently to productivity targets while maintaining quality
