The role is an essential marketing position supporting all aspects of Digital Marketing. The Digital & Social Media Marketing Executive is responsible for creating and delivering campaigns that drive customer traffic, engagement & retention and support conversion through all online channels of ETEL, with the majority focused on Kwik Fit.

The role will operate on a hybrid basis, working from home though to include time spent onsite at our central offices in Letchworth as well as regional and occasionally national travel as required by the business. Therefore flexibility around location/travel plus a full UK Cat B drivers licence is essential to your application.

The Day to Day

  • Support the implementation of the Digital & Social Media Marketing annual activity plans to achieve the overall marketing strategy.
  • Work with Senior Digital & Social Media Marketing Executive to develop and implement social media strategy using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant social media channels.
  • Monitor and update company business listings on Google, Facebook, Apple and other digital platforms.
  • Support ongoing development of group websites to improve customer experience.
  • Track performance KPIs, activity, report and make improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement social media strategy through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
  • Work with Digital Marketing agency on paid social activity in line with marketing strategy.
  • Monitor daily mentions through social media channels, reviews, forums and blogs.
  • Engage with customers through social media channels and liaise with customer services and other departments where necessary.
  • Produce and distribute daily and weekly social media reports.
  • Monitor competitor activity through social media and online promotions.
  • Work with Influencer Marketing agency to create and manage Influencer Marketing activity in line with the marketing calendar.
  • Support the promotions and the company presence at key events through social media content (e.g. British Touring Car Championship and Goodwood Festival of Speed).
  • Keep company business listings up to date across key digital platforms.
  • Maintain charity pages and support charity social media.
  • Support recruitment and other ETEL brands and departments with social media requirements.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager with monthly online promotions, including managing fulfilment of offers and/or prizes.
  • Communicate online promotions and changes to wider business through online marketing bulletin.
  • Monitor ongoing campaign performance, keeping accurate records, identifying variances and provide recommendations for improvement as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to legal and corporate guideline requirements within area of responsibility.
  • Travel across the UK when necessary and agreed with Manager.
  • Support company values.

Who we’re looking for

  • Degree or relevant marketing qualifications.
  • 1 years’ experience in a Digital or Social Media marketing role preferred but not essential (full training given).
  • Able to think critically with strong problem solving skills.
  • Strong project management – self-sufficient in prioritising, organising workload and planning ahead.
  • Flexible and able to adapt to the changing business environment and demands.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work within cross-functional teams.
  • Capable of working well in a fast paced retail environment.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
  • Passion for Social Media, Digital Marketing and automotive industry.
  • Flexible to travel within the UK (Full UK Cat B drivers licence essential).
