Reporting to the Head of Digital & CRM, the Digital Tyre Merchandiser is responsible for helping drive the online merchandising strategy for tyres across Kwik Fit’s digital channels.

The role is accountable for optimising product visibility, ranking, recommendations and content to ensure customers are presented with the most relevant tyres for their vehicle, driving requirements and budget.

Working at the intersection of customer experience and commercial performance, the role balances key business objectives including conversion, revenue, margin, stock availability and supplier priorities to maximise trading performance and customer satisfaction.

The role is based at our central offices in Letchworth, though will involve working from home and with local, regional and national travel as required by the business.

  • The Day to Day
  • Own the end‑to‑end ordering, ranking and presentation of tyres across on‑site search results, category pages, product listings and recommendation modules to maximise visibility and conversion.
  • Define, implement and continually refine merchandising rules that balance commercial performance with customer relevance and vehicle compatibility.
  • Manage promotional placement and featured ranges, including supplier‑funded campaigns, ensuring optimal exposure and return on investment.
  • Analyse customer behaviour and trading performance, including search trends, conversion funnels and abandonment points, to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy and quality of tyre product data, including specifications, imagery and supporting content, to maintain customer trust and compliance.
  • Track, report and communicate merchandising performance using analytics and reporting tools, translating insights into actionable improvements.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Pricing, Purchasing, Marketing, SEO, CRM, Product and Customer Service teams to deliver a cohesive and effective on‑site experience.
  • Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by Management, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.
  • Who we're looking for
  • Experience in e Commerce merchandising, digital trading, category management, or a similar online retail role.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using GA4 or equivalent analytics platforms to drive data-led decisions.
  • Excellent written communication, copywriting and attention to detail.
  • Commercially aware and results-driven, with a strong understanding of customer behaviour, conversion and online performance.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Customer-focused, proactive and self-motivated, with a naturally curious and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Passion for digital commerce and the automotive industry.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required with a full UK Cat B driving licence (essential)
