Reporting to the Head of Retail Marketing, the Brand Communications Executive will support the delivery of clear, consistent and effective brand communications across the ETEL Group's retail brands, including Kwik Fit and STS Tyre Pros. The role is focused on the execution and coordination of brand communications, supporting PR activity, in-centre point-of-sale (POS) materials and event-related communications.

Working closely with the Retail Marketing team, Operations colleagues and external agencies, the role supports the implementation of brand & PR activity rather than owning end-to-end delivery. This includes centre launches, local and national events, PR activations, and the annual group conference, as well as collaborative campaigns with supplier and community partners.

This permanent position is based upon 40hrs/week, which following a successful training and induction period will operate on a hybrid basis, to include time spent onsite at our central offices in Letchworth as well as other UK locations if required.

The Day to Day

  • Support the delivery and coordination of brand communications activity across PR, in-centre POS and event-related materials.
  • Assist with PR communications, including drafting press releases, coordinating approvals and supporting reactive communications.
  • Coordinate the production and rollout of in-centre POS materials, ensuring assets are accurate and brand compliant.
  • Support event activation activity from a communications perspective, including branded assets, signage and messaging.
  • Ensure all brand communications adhere to brand guidelines and tone of voice.
  • Liaise with Operations teams and external agencies to support in-centre implementation.
  • Maintain brand communication schedules, trackers and documentation.
  • Assist with post-campaign reporting and communications analysis.
  • Ensure all communications comply with legal, corporate and brand guidelines.
  • Uphold and promote company values through all external-facing communications.
  • Travel across the UK when required to manage or support event execution and partner activations.
  • Other tasks and duties reasonably required by Management.

  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and with external partners/agencies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel and attend events outside standard office hours when necessary.
  • High level of IT proficiency across Microsoft Office, knowledge of design or event planning software is desirable.
  • Degree or working towards a relevant Marketing qualification (desired).
  • Full UK Cat B Drivers Licence (desired).
