About the role

The Social Media & Content Executive plays a hands‑on role in building an organic presence that stands out in a crowded category. Working closely with the Head of Brand, you’ll own our organic social storytelling, drive high‑impact influencer collaborations, and spearhead digital PR initiatives. This role is ideal for a creative with a couple of years of experience in a similar role who is ready to take on a brand and build it from scratch. You’ll have the confidence to manage agencies and excite the internal team on this journey. You love brand building, community engagement, and cultural trends, and you already know how to seamlessly connect social media with digital PR and integrated marketing campaigns in a fast-moving, high‑growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organic Social Content Management: Own the day‑to‑day delivery of the organic social content plan. Working with your specialist agencies to build a distinct, consistent brand personality across chosen organic platforms.
  • Sports & Cultural Storytelling: Collaborate with sports specialists to source insights, real‑time trends, and sporting moments. Translate these into engaging, highly shareable social content that builds community.
  • Influencer & Creator Campaigns: Manage relationships with influencers and agencies, making sure they are clearly briefed to amplify kwiff’s unique product offering through relevant sports content creators and brand ambassadors.
  • Digital PR: Develop and execute digital PR initiatives with the PR agency to earn high‑quality media coverage, brand mentions and authoritative backlinks that elevate kwiff's brand authority.
  • SEO Collaboration: Partner closely with the internal SEO Manager and agency to align organic social and digital PR efforts with search strategies, ensuring our content boosts keyword visibility and drives organic traffic.
  • Integrated Campaign Support: Act as the organic social and PR expert within the wider brand team, injecting creative social thinking into larger integrated marketing campaigns to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels. Collaborate closely with the Partnerships Manager and sporting partners to identify opportunities that bring partnership activity to life across organic social, PR, and brand campaigns.
  • Performance & Measurement: Monitor social trends, community sentiment and channel analytics to continuously refine our organic strategy and identify new creative opportunities.

Skills and experience

  • 2+ years’ experience specifically focused on organic social media, influencer marketing, or digital PR—ideally within gaming, sports, entertainment, or another high‑growth, regulated environment.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of what drives organic growth and engagement across major platforms (Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
  • A love for sport: A genuine passion for football and sport will be highly beneficial in this role, helping to bring energy, insight, and authenticity to our social, PR, and partnership activity.
  • A Sharp Creative Eye: Excellent judgement on brand, tone and design, with a knack for writing punchy, platform‑native copy.
  • Collaborative Mindset: Experience or strong understanding of how organic social media and PR intersect with SEO and broader performance marketing activity.
  • Agency & Talent Management: Confident sourcing and managing relationships with external influencers, creators, and PR partners.
