The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Offering the highest quality brands, we are one of the largest suppliers of Oriental foods, sauces and packaging materials to the Chinese catering, wholesale and retail markets in the UK and Ireland.

Whilst full training and support about the role will be given by our friendly and supportive team, it is essential that the successful candidate:

  • Is able to speak fluent Mandarin.
  • Holds a full and valid UK driving licence as they will be required to travel regularly across the UK.
  • Has at least two years' experience working in sales, account management and/or customer service, preferably within a fast-paced, busy working environment.
  • Is confident in their ability to sell products to new and existing customers.
  • Is confident in their ability to successfully communicate with other Kwan Yick employees and customers.
  • Is motivated, professional and organised.
  • Can maintain an extensive knowledge of the company product portfolio.
  • Is confident in their ability to record and place orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Can collect customer data in line with current GDPR legislation.
  • Can work on their own initiative, and is confident in their own decision-making.
  • Can work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Is a positive thinker who can solve problems quickly.
  • Can adapt to change, and feels confident in their ability to highlight any opportunities within existing processes in an effort to improve efficiency across the Company.
  • Is confident in their ability to follow instructions from senior leadership.
  • Can reliably commute to the Kwan Yick site in Newport, South Wales every Thursday in order to attend a weekly Sales Meeting.
  • Has the current and valid right to work in the UK.
  • Wants to work in an exceptionally motivated, family-run business.
