Kwalee’s Mobile Product team is looking for a talented Senior Market Intelligence Analyst to help guide our internal development studios during the ideation phase through to Live Ops. The Senior Market Intelligence Analyst will bring together evidence from various sources that aid and inspire our development teams, increasing their chances of success by ensuring that we operate in the most advantageous areas within the wider market. This role will be located within our Leamington Spa studio, working onsite 5 days per week, where our daily in‑office collaboration fuels creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Shaping the Future of Our Games Portfolio
  • Transform complex data into actionable intelligence, supporting core product, monetisation, and executive decision‑making.
  • Lead the market discovery phase, conducting deep‑dive research into mobile gaming sub‑genres, player demographics, and emerging global trends to identify high‑potential areas for new game development.
  • Act as a strategic partner during initial ideation, pitching data‑driven insights and compelling evidence to internal studios to convince them of the right genres, themes, or mechanics to pursue.
  • Own competitive benchmarking, continuously analysing competitor features, update cadences, and Live Ops strategies to keep our active games ahead of the market.
  • Use modern intelligence tools (including AI/automation tools like Cursor or LLMs) to reduce operational overhead and scale research efficiently.
  • Synthesise quantitative and qualitative data from industry tools (e.g., Sensor Tower, Data.ai) into clear, visually engaging reports for both creative teams and executive leadership.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of working closely with diverse studio teams (Product, Monetisation, Marketing, and Management) to integrate competitive insights directly into development roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated history of guiding "what to build next" by evaluating competitor dynamics and successfully capturing market growth potential.
  • Deep mobile gaming expertise, with an encyclopaedic knowledge of current mobile trends, Free‑to‑Play (F2P) monetisation mechanics, and shifting player behaviours.
  • Elite presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to translate raw numbers into a gripping narrative that gains buy‑in from highly creative and technical stakeholders.
  • A background in Game Design or Product Management is highly desirable, enabling you to speak the same language as developers and bridge the gap between market data and actual gameplay.
  • Prior experience in a market intelligence or product insights role specifically within a mobile gaming studio is essential.
