Our Mobile Development division in Leamington Spa are looking for a versatile and creative Game Artist to join our hybrid‑casual game team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high‑quality 2D/3D art, UI, animations, and VFX that elevate the player experience and maintain a cohesive visual identity across our games.
Responsibilities- Create polished 2D/3D art, UI, VFX, and animations tailored for hybrid‑casual games.
- Produce Spine animations for characters and gameplay assets.
- Develop and maintain a consistent visual style across features, levels, and live‑ops content.
- Work closely with designers and developers to ensure smooth asset integration into Unity.
- Contribute to ideation, prototyping, and rapid iteration loops during early development.
- 5+ years of experience in mobile game art (Hybrid‑Casual experience preferred).
- Strong hands‑on skills in 2D art, 3D modelling, lighting, texturing, gameplay animations, VFX and UI.
- Spine animation skills for character and various gameplay assets.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Blender/Maya, and Unity tools.
- Ability to concept/ideate visuals that can be 2D/3D within fast paced prototype phases.
- Strong understanding of colour theory, shape language, lighting, and composition.
- Ability to create stylised, clean, and polished hybrid‑casual assets.
- Strong understanding of hybrid‑casual aesthetics, trends, and visual clarity principles.
- Experienced in working with Unity asset integration pipelines.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability over assigned features.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
- Clear and effective communication skills for presenting ideas and giving/receiving feedback.
- Ability to iterate quickly, adapt to feedback, and work within fast development cycles.
- Experience working on live‑ops or frequently updated mobile titles.
- Understanding of UX principles for casual / hybrid‑casual games.
- Experience creating Unity Shader.
- Experience using AI to speed up the ideation process.
