Kwalee’s Development team within Mobile Games is looking for a motivated and driven Release Manager to be based in our Leamington Spa studio.
Role Responsibilities- Communicate with game producers, developers, and marketing teams to organise, track, and align build readiness with target submission timelines.
- Work with other teams to prepare and localise store assets, achievements, and in‑app purchases for new testing, soft launch, and update cycles.
- Follow and support established submission processes to ensure games and metadata are fully prepared and compliant for platform release.
- Maximise store listing conversion rates and organic visibility to support overall corporate growth and traffic acquisition.
- Maintain and operate the app stores, preparing games for testing, release, and updates, setting up new store entries and assets, and assisting in securing platform feature spots.
- Create, share, and manage the Release Checklists from the start of a project to guide games successfully through to launch.
- Create and configure in‑game achievements on store platforms based on project and design requirements.
- Set up and configure in‑game product codes and IAPs, handling localised descriptions, international pricing conversions, and iOS review screenshots.
- Coordinate store updates by configuring "What’s New" release notes.
- Execute and monitor store listing A/B tests (icons, screenshots, metadata) to optimise store page conversion and support organic traffic growth.
- Support the team during app rejections by communicating with Apple/Google platform support and coordinating with developers to resolve submission blocks.
- Coordinate closely with Game Development and Marketing teams to track submission timelines, build readiness, and dependency statuses.
- Report progress directly to the team and comply fully with the company’s mission statement, policies, processes, and studio strategies.
- Meticulous and detail‑oriented approach to ensuring high accuracy across all store uploads, checklists, and metadata configurations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate across multidisciplinary internal teams.
- Excellent time‑management and tracking capabilities to coordinate multiple parallel project submissions and checklists.
- Highly motivated and proactive mindset when taking ownership of day‑to‑day release operations and troubleshooting obstacles.
- Hands‑on familiarity or previous experience navigating Google Play Console and Apple App Store Connect.
- Experience playing, testing, or developing mobile games, bringing a strong familiarity with the mobile gaming ecosystem.
