THE OPPORTUNITY

This is far more than a compliance role.

As Corporation Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio, combining corporation tax compliance, tax accounting and advisory work while playing a key role in developing clients, people and the wider business.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Lead the delivery of Corporation Tax compliance, tax accounting and advisory assignments.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, taking ownership from planning through to completion.
• Set budgets, manage resources and ensure work is delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Provide technically strong, commercially practical tax advice.
• Carry out complex technical research and confidently communicate your conclusions to clients.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, professional advisers and internal teams.
• Coach, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Delegate effectively while maintaining quality, accountability and client service.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, systems and technology.
• Play an active role in business development, networking and generating new opportunities.
• Support the continued growth and development of the wider tax practice.
• Identify risk, improve processes and help drive positive change.
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness and contribute to the firm's strategic objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone who combines technical tax expertise with commercial confidence and a genuine desire to progress.

You'll ideally have:

• CA, ACA, ATT or CTA, or equivalent breadth of technical knowledge.
• Strong Corporation Tax compliance and advisory experience.
• Excellent technical research and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• A proven ability to build strong client relationships.
• Previous experience managing and developing junior team members.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience with Alphatax would be advantageous.
• A proactive, professional and commercially minded approach.
