Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Kitchen Designer based in London. The Senior Kitchen Designer will manage projects from initial consultation to final design and sales completion. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with clients to develop kitchen designs
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Ensuring projects meet both aesthetic and functional expectations
- Showcasing product knowledge and providing design expertise
- Working closely with team members to achieve sales targets
- Performing site surveys to gain a better understanding of the rooms
- Building rapport with customers
- Following the sales process and creating detailed installation plans
We have an Installation Manager who will take over and assist but the designer has to do their part.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Kitchen Design, with at least 2-3 years minimum experience, including the ability to create innovative yet practical and functional spaces
- Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to build and manage relationships with clients effectively
- Ability to think outside of the box and wow customers
- Proven Sales ability and the capacity to achieve or exceed targets by offering tailored solutions
- Knowledge of Cabinetry, including materials, textures, design options, appliances, and worktops
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in design software; Winner experience is a plus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Previous experience in kitchen design or interior design is a must
Renumeration: OTE £60,000+ - made up of basic and commission, with yearly bonuses based upon sales and profitability.
