The contracts include Airlocks, equipment hatches, cranes, lifts trolleys and hoists. This is a valuable and technically stimulating opportunity to support a project which is a vital part of the UK’s future energy strategy.
As Technical Lead, you will provide technical oversight of the contract(s), including the surveillance of technical documentation, the management and resolution of open points and changes related to Design, Manufacturing and Qualification. You will also be responsible for keeping the contract at the configuration compliant with the project progress.
In order to do this, you will work closely with the relevant disciplines included in the project but also within the client and the suppliers to ensure the technical requirements are met. Control and Management of the evolution of the contract and design changes. Liaising with RD and client management teams to communicate progress, risks, issues and planning to support contract delivery. Ensuring qualification activities are progressing according to the contract progress and site needs. Help to upskill other members of the team, including other less experienced TLs.
During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other types of equipment or projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics.
Knowledge and experience in Nuclear Mechanical Equipment Design, Manufacture and Operations. Technical background on handling equipment such as: cranes, mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, steelwork design, lift design. Understanding of Equipment interfaces (safety case, systems engineering, civil interfaces). Contract management and document review experience. Experience using change-management, commercial and deliverable management systems (UKDC, UKICM, OPM, CEMAR, Teamcenter) is an advantage. IT literate. French-speaking would be an advantage.
