KURY UK Ltd is part of an international company, Kury Groupe, 100% dedicated to the nuclear field with 23 years of experience in nuclear engineering. We have been working with EDF (French Electricity Producer) and are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote time to mentoring and training our engineers. We take special care of our employees’ development by ensuring quality projects through which they will increase their skills. Our team is international, with engineers coming from different countries as we seek the best talents!

You enjoy analysing concrete problems, finding solutions, and then implementing them. Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects that require stringent industrial safety measures captivates you. Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesising, and scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments. You value working on projects and quality matters to you.

As a System Engineer IED for lighting and power outlets, your main mission will be to ensure the following activities:

  • Produce, review and update the system documentation for diverse electrical systems (DN, DS, DX). This includes operator instructions, human machine interface, safety and environmental specifications, control logic design, as well as periodic testing in compliance with engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes, and tools.
  • Management of the design and operation of the EPR systems during the design, construction, and commissioning phases, in accordance with safety requirements, regulatory requirements, and design rules.
  • Ensure the proper integration of detailed mechanical diagrams, functional diagrams, and 3D models in the associated tools.
  • Receive modification requests issued by various engineering teams, verify the coherence of these modifications, systematically challenge their necessity, and ensure feasibility and validity.
  • Participate in experience sharing activities (OPEX shared with other projects).

During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you throughout your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies, and technical topics.

Knowledge or relevant experience in the nuclear industry is required. Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field is essential. Familiarity with RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909) is necessary. Experience in technical document reviews, radioprotection field, instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing, or installation is advantageous. French-speaking would be an advantage.
