Getting involved in significant industrial and engineering projects involving very demanding precautions regarding industrial safety captivates you. Your good analytical skills, sense of logic, aptitude for synthesising and your scientific knowledge will allow you to adapt quickly to multi-system environments. You will be part of the HVAC Systems engineering team, your activities will comprise:
- System design and system integration into overall Projects design: Review and update the system documentation, as well as formulate the mechanical, electrical, nuclear safety, and control logic requirements in compliance with the engineering rules, methodologies, quality processes, and tools.
- Analyse and verification of input data: Requirements and lessons learnt from other stations. Sizing of components e.g. pumps, pipework, fans, tanks, performing thermal-hydraulic calculation and modelling with in-house or commercial tools.
- Modification and configuration management: Apply client’s engineering rules applicable for I&C design e.g. for platform allocation. Produce and update the I&C parts of the System Design Manual.
- Participation in the preparation of commissioning strategy of systems: Support the commissioning teams with system inputs needed for the production of the documentation required for the commissioning sequence.
A proactive and positive engagement with all stakeholders around the HVAC systems is needed to ensure the delivery of a product meeting the requirements set by all disciplines (layout, civil, hazard, nuclear safety, environment, configuration management, procurement etc.). During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects. This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics.
Relevant experience in the nuclear industry. Ability to effectively manage own workload in order to produce high-quality documents and respect deadlines. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills: ability to communicate clearly and to deal with different stakeholders, confident in communicating within an international environment and proactive in developing positive working relations with others within the project. Continuously looking for opportunities to improve quality of engineering studies and the subsequent documentation produced. Experience working on an operating plant or on an industrial site. French-speaking and ability to write technical documents in French would be an advantage.
