Kurt J. Lesker Company is seeking a Product Manager focused on Pressure Measurement & Instrumentation – a role with deep product ownership experience in physical instrumentation, not software-only products. This role owns the strategy, lifecycle, and commercial success of our vacuum gauging and instrumentation portfolio, supporting internal teams and customers across highly technical applications.

Key Job Elements
- Apply mechanical and electrical engineering principles and system integration knowledge to support product development and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ownership of end-to-end profit and loss (P&L) management for the product line, including pricing, cost control, and margin optimization.
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for Pressure Measurement and instrumentation products.
- Serve as the technical and market expert for the product line—understanding principles of operation, applications, competitive positioning, and customer needs.
- Partner with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Service to support product success from development through end-of-life.
- Drive the creation of website and marketing content for use across digital and traditional channels.
- Lead new product introductions and enhancements through the Innovation process based on market demand and technology trends.
- Develop and deliver technical training and sales enablement tools.
- Support key customer engagements and assist sales in closing complex, technical opportunities.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain on inventory strategy, service levels, and disposition of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
- Manage key supplier relationships and identify new sourcing options when needed.
- Take a leadership role in resolving customer issues, Corrective Action Request (CARs), and quality concerns related to the product line.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (e.g., CE, RoHS, ISO) and manage documentation.
- Participate in business planning, including sales forecasts, gross margin commitments, and cost control.
Skills and Qualifications
Required
- 5 years’ experience in Product Management, Engineering, or Technical Sales for Electro-mechanical products.
- Strong background in pressure measurement, instrumentation, sensors, or electro-mechanical products.
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- High level of technical competence and ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally in a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to support overnight and international travel.
Preferred
- Experience within the vacuum industry or closely related markets.
- Exposure to integrated systems combining mechanical, electrical, and digital components.
- Educational background or work experiences emphasizing chemical or materials science principles.
