We're seeking a skilled individual with experience in CNC programming & machining, a strong understanding of CAM software, and a qualification in Mechanical Engineering. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex machining operations on CNC milling machines and read and understand G-code
- Mentor fellow employees to resolve complex machining problems
- Write and edit complex CNC programs to support production requirements providing optimum manufacturing cost and quality.
- Set and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis machines
- Read and understand Technical drawings
- Produce quality parts in a timely manner
- Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with machinists, Engineering, and Product/Production Management to solve problems and improve processes.
- Other duties as assigned
What you'll bring:
Required
- ONC/HNC (Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology or Industrial Technology) or equivalent experience in a related field
- Proven machining experience on CNC equipment or using CNC solid modeling (turning and milling)
- Delcam or MasterCam Programming experience
- Extensive knowledge of machine functions (G code, M code, Offsets, etc)
