Lesker Company is seeking a skilled and motivated assembly technician to join our Process Equipment Division. This person is responsible for the assembly of standard and custom products, sub-assemblies and coating systems.

  • Assembles or modifies mechanical or electrical assemblies from schematics or work instructions of a higher complexity.
  • Assembly and testing of higher level mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Electrical wiring and/or plumbing (hard and soft) within the system framework.
  • Mounting of mechanical and electrical sub-assemblies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies.
  • May include leadership roles to assist Manager in quality control, scheduling and daily activities.
  • Training of other technicians on proper methods and techniques regarding assembly tasks.
  • May include some basic manual machining capabilities.
  • Perform work in a logical, orderly and skillful manner while maintaining a high level of quality workmanship.

Weekdays 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM may include required overtime.

Standards of performance:

  • Quality (appearance, completeness and accurateness) of work.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of and works within KJLC's Quality Management System, including the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.

Environmentally controlled assembly floor and clean room. Modern office environment. Occasional tasks within the KJLC machine shop.

Standard mechanical and electrical hand tools, portable drills, heat guns, multi-meters, amp meters and soldering stations. Possible manual shop machinery, such as a drill press, shear, band saw, horizontal mill and lathe. PC and standard manufacturing and administrative programs.
